Hi, I’m Jessica Crosby.

I’ve been doing security stuff for a while now—like 11 years—and one thing has really stuck with me: everyone deserves to use products they can rely on and trust. Security isn’t just about preventing threat actors; it’s about creating experiences where safety feels natural and seamlessly integrated so that users don’t need to specifically think about how to keep themselves safe.

I love being part of something bigger than myself—building and refining programs, helping organizations grow and mature, fixing vulnerabilities at scale, and seeing the impact of that work. Every day brings a new challenge, and honestly, there’s nothing more exciting to me than jumping into the deep end and figuring it out as I go. Complex problems with lots of moving parts? Love to see it. New features being built? Let’s threat model them. Collaborating with other teams to create solutions with a wider scope of impact? Sign me up.

I believe in influencing security by leading with empathy. Real change happens when you understand and work with all sides of a problem. The best solutions strike a balance: secure enough to protect users, smooth enough for a great user experience, and realistic enough for developers to build.

TL;DR: I’m a problem solver, a builder of things, a creator of solutions, and a storyteller who made this place to share the stuff I care about.
